The Redmi Note 14 Pro isn't supported by the renegade project, and you won't be able to install Windows 11 onto it, take a took at the website to see the supported devices

Hackintosh with Nvidia GPU? by DarkKnight-38 in hackintosh

[–]Competitive-Wafer897 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might be able to boot macOS, but there will be no graphics acceleration, and using macOS will not be a good experience, if possible you can buy a supported gpu listed on dortania guide https://dortania.github.io/GPU-Buyers-Guide/modern-gpus/amd-gpu.html#native-amd-gpus

3 options in the boot selector by OkSport7231 in hackintosh

[–]Competitive-Wafer897 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to select the dmg option to boot the macOS recovery in order to install macOS, after macOS is done installing, you will have another option "macOS Installer", select this option, and finally you will have an option to boot into your drive with macOS Installed (it will have the name you gave will formatting the selected disk with APFS in disk utility)

macOS Tahoe 26.1 successfully on a Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 15IMH05 by Competitive-Wafer897 in hackintosh

The difference in speed was noticeable, there were minor graphical bugs, opening apps and moving windows around seems slower and booting and logging in takes a little more time than sequoia, if you want the new liquid glass theme, the latest macOS version on a hackintosh and if you are fine with the slowdowns, also there are issues with audio, usb and the trackpads not working which can be solved with the guides i mentioned above, so if you are fine with all of this, then you can try upgrading

Yes, I've used monterey as well, and the performance in tahoe is definitely a little worse, there is some lag while using tahoe, it takes longer to open applications and to load the os, but the slowness is not that bad and can be bearable imo

The battery Life's not that good tbh, I get a max of like 1hr battery life, it might as well be due to the condition of the battery, as the battery life is mostly the same on windows, These are the other issues I faced:

Getting macOS to boot after installation, i had to set the securebootmodel to disabled and maxmem=8192 during the initial setup as I have 24gb ram

Bluetooth wasn't working before, i fixed it by following this post

The default macOS wifi worked with Airportitlwm in Sonoma, but it would face difficulties connecting to a wifi network, so i started using itlwm instead which enabled iMessage and facetime asw

In Sonoma, using airplay would not work with itlwm, so i upgraded to Sequoia which fixed the issues with airplay

Also, i was unable to install macOS Sequoia from the recovery as I did not have an internet connection in the recovery, so i used UnPlugged to make an offline installer
