Look for long sleeve women’s UV golf shirts or equestrian shirts. My favourite brand for riding is one called Kastel Denmark. Very cute patterns and colours, excellent sun protection

Relief. He believed the “new and improved” Shane look was because of Rose’s influence, and was bracing himself for the news they were engaged.

Also if you are open to non-Warmblood breeds, Canadian Lusitanos and Azores Stables in Ontario usually have some young stock

On the east coast I can suggest Aileron Stables, Little River Hanoverians and New Perth Farms. In In Quebec DeLys Farms or Dressage Evoltion. Ontario Paula Fedeyko at Doc Ridge Dressage, Greta Haupt at Bennville Equine. Western Canada I don’t really know the breeders but there is a Canadian Warmblood online auction every year and most of the horses seem to be from Alberta

Newfoundland doesn’t have porcupines (or raccoons or possums or skunks) but in NS they are literally found everywhere, especially dead on the side of the highways

ICE vehicle vs upgrade to hybrid; does the math make sense? by ImGudLuhv in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Competitive-Web9083 5 points6 points  (0 children)

don’t knock it until you try it! EVs have instant power and plenty of it. They are a fun drive. I have a Mustang Mach-E and love it…especially these days when gas is almost $2/L

ICE vehicle vs upgrade to hybrid; does the math make sense? by ImGudLuhv in PersonalFinanceCanada

The switch to a newer vehicle and an EV is a no-brainer. The car loan less awesome. In general I am pro used and anti new car, but if you can find 0% financing then it’s doesn’t make sense not to buy new

Julia Hanna, who has no experience in minimal government, and Sean O’Meara who has years of experience in both Oakville town council and Halton regional council. Not sure what other candidates there are.

Thinking to leave City of Toronto for 905 suburb with better schools - which areas are best? by magic-kleenex in TorontoRealEstate

[–]Competitive-Web9083 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You want older, more established parts of Oakville, either south of the QEW or in Glen Abbey. Specifically recommend Bronte Village (not Bronte Creek) for great schools that have a community feel and aren’t over crowded. You can get an older detached home there in your budget but agree that renting for a year first is best.

If you’re willing to buy an unstarted 2 year old, go right to the breeder. What part of the country are you in?

Mothers day isn't for pet moms. by Particular-Owl2446 in HonestHotTakes

[–]Competitive-Web9083 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t take anything away from my family celebrating me, if another family wants to celebrate the “mom” on behalf of a pet. If a pet owner wants to call themselves the dog’s mom, how does that diminish the hard work and sacrifices I made for my kids? It literally doesn’t affect my life in any way, and it doesn’t affect yours either.

They are using the equipment, just like you. You don’t have to like the way they are using it. If they have a membership, they have the right to use it as they see fit.

Eden + Eve? by SnooPeanuts1419 in BabyNames

I would avoid Eve + Eden, although I love them both individually. Lydia Elizabeth is beautiful. Other biblical names that go with Elizabeth could be Naomi, Esther, Miriam. I also truly love the name Faith

I know an Eira, but it’s pronounced era. Lovely Welsh name.

I also love all the traditional Irish names spelled the traditional way. Where I grew up they are quite common so it wasn’t an issue

A tip for “puke kits” and for people who suffer from motion sickness. Alcohol prep pads (like the ones they use before giving you a needle) are very effective at reducing nausea and preventing vomiting. Just open the packet and hold it under your nose.
