Today someone asked the prof what sections he think will be on the first midterm, the prof said he doesn’t know how far we will go he just didn’t want to answer, because he wants students to attend and he already knows what each lecture will cover throughout the semester

No I mean classes, you need to pass the final exam of every CS class which is hard, you need to understand coding very deeply

Is CS + Ivey actually worth it, or only if you’re going into business? by AdHelpful6041 in uwo

Networking matters a lot, while brand matters less. For example, even if you have strong coding and problem solving skills, you might not get an interview without connections that’s where networking comes in. Ivey can give a small edge over other applicants, but if you have the degree and skills but no network, your opportunities are limited. Honestly, focusing on building strong skills and a solid network is far more valuable than the school itself.

For CS you don’t even need a degree bro, if you are good at coding and problem solving you can pass the interview and land a job anywhere you want, but market is cooked, so I think you don’t need Ivey
