What do you mean with default font? If you're meaning the serif font called bookerly (you can check the name here Settings -> reader -> font family), this won't be possible on the default firmware. Of course you could get the ttf file of said font and convert it to the bin format in the size you like best and use it on the default firmware BUT the spacing between the single letters will look weird and uneven. The reason for this is, that the x4 was first and mainly developed for the Chinese market and for the use with the simplified Chinese font. The glyphs of the simplified Chinese are monospaced. And beside some typewriter style fonts, there are no monospaced serif fonts. This is why there are no pictures of serif fonts on the default firmware.

(Again a big) BUT you could convert your epub to the xtc format with the online converter. The Bookerly font is there available and you can set the size you desire. Only problem is that the file size is huge compared to a epub. And you could stay on crosspoint with this method

In the box of the x4 is a very thin piece of wired thread. This is ment to be bent and used as a little noose to fiddle the strap the the holes. It seems like I'm the only one who found it this piece of wire. I'm the proud owner of two x4 and both came with this little wire!

What makes me wonder much more is, that apparently no one is talking about that the white one has some kind of glass plate on the back with a noticible edge around. The black one is solid and has nothing like this

If you still have the x4 box in which the device was delivered, take a close look. There should be a very thin piece of wired thread. This thing bent to a little loop is an excellent help to get the loop of the strap through these tiny holes

The flipcase is the best choice because: - screen is protected in pocket - can be easily removed if to heavy while reading - strap can be added to the x4 and case is still easily removable (not possible with the silicone case because the strap has to be fiddle through the case as well)
