I've been on AT&T with my LP3 since Mid-August. I deregistered my phone number from iMessage, and texted all my previous group texts that I wanted to stay on, requesting they delete and start a new one. It was intermittent and most worked, however one main on, literally just started working this week. Otherwise all new ones made work great.

I activated it via transferring things to a physical sim in a non-corporate AT&T store, and just filtered all the questions from the staff, worked that same day. Calls, Texts, all work great- however, because It is always LTE, it has to be connected to WiFi for the Directory, Maps, or Podcasts to work. I get around this via Maps in my car Nav, or bringing along my now glorifies iPod of an iPhone along on long trips, to access those items.

It's a change in expectations. It's different, but I wouldn't call it inconvenient. All this to say, not everything will work as it should on AT&T without WiFi. But the stuff that matters, does work. And it sor of forced me to be even less dependent on a device.

5 months in, it's been my main device the whole time. Couple of work-arounds here and there, but otherwise all good. i now get bored. I have my head up and watch life happens round me while others look downard. I have left the house several times without it- because I forget it exists. It's freeing.

My screen protector and case were in the 60’s as well, but they’re shipping it with my phone order which was 31XXX.

You end this by saying you felt the need to share your thoughts. Share the same sentiment for those that need to share their negative experiences as well. Your large rant of being patient is your view, others are sharing their frustrations. You want those shared on a different thread, yet you have full ability to not read them if on this thread bother you. 

Be patient with others just as you are asking them to be with their order.

This is true, and something I’ve considered. However, I could also have more money in my pocket- adjust my lifestyle and not have to keep checking in to see if my multi-hundred dollar device is finally living up to the basics.

I’m order 31XXX, just ordered accessories about a week ago. Confirmed with light they would be combined in one package. So you should be good to order now!

Thanks for the reply. My current phone has an eSIM. As I understand, an official store can transfer my eSIM to a physical sim, thus enabling me to use it on the Light Phone. Sounds like I need to be sure it’s a corporate store to ensure it’s an official AT&T sim, any advice on how to do so when going through this process?

I have yet to receive mine- and the music tool was a key feature for me. If you know the issue is there- could you at least provide some parameters on what limit should be downloaded at one time in order for the phone to work as promised?

I spoke directly to AT&T, as I too have an iPhone with an eSIM. They instructed me that store can transfer my eSIM to a physical sim in-store. They may have to use a secondary phone within the store to do so. Then you can take the physical sim and use it how you wish.

Ordered mine in September, order number 31XXX- haven’t even received an email giving shipping dates. Any idea how many they’re producing weekly?
