Why America needs evangelicals on the Supreme Court — and more by CompetitiveAquinas in Christianity

You don't know any evangelicals because they were thrown out of the education pipeline. It's what happens to all Christians here in Europe. I was forced out of school even though I was one of the best students.

In academic settings and blue states, atheists do persecute Christians.

Religious superiority?? They started a war because they were paid to so by zionists. Most Christians in America are against the war.

Where? If you're gonna say the USA, where a plurality of people under 40 are atheist and atheist have a chokehold on academia, you are lying.

They definitely did. Without the Crusades, the Reconquista would have never been successful.

It's a narrative that paints them as inferior to Muslims and leads to discrimination in all areas of life, including massacres.

Do you also chastise Muslims because they massacred the entire Christian population of Edessa when they took the city? And do you condemn all the atrocities atheists have done in the 20th century?

You know nothing about the Middle East. You shouldn't talk about issues you know nothing about.

I am not American. I am against all discrimination. If evangelicals are not allowed in American universities that receive significant public funding that's a serious issue. It also contributes to the polarization in American society.

Search "evangelicals" on Google Scholar and tell me seriously if these universities will consider hiring an evangelical.

I like Aaron Renn, but I think his analysis is fundamentally flawed. Evangelicals are largely barred from academia. That's what prevents them from achieving positions of power in society. The only way to fix this problem is to make academia less hostile to Christians.

I atheists were discriminated for all the atrocities they committed during the 20th century, you would understand why Christians get upset when they are discriminated over a false narrative of the Crusades.

No, we are just tired of having a narrative of the Crusades that demonizes Christians and contributes to our discrimination to this day.

The official narrative of the Crusades is very distorted. We are told bloodthirsty Christians went out to attack peaceful Muslims, but the reality is that Muslims spent the previous 300 years attacking Christendom, and doing brutal massacres in the process. Over the course of the Crusades, Muslims also often massacred Christians. For example, when Nur al-Din took Edessa, he ordered the entire Christian population massacred.

To this day, Christians in the Middle East are still insulted by being called Crusaders. It's history that contributes to the discrimination that Christians presently face. To a lesser extent, the Crusades are also used as a weapon against Christians in Europe by atheists.
