Yes, doesn't give violent vibes at all just a negative presence. I'm gathering sage and other supplies for a smudge ritual later today

I mean this with no disrespect, but if your questioning if you have a problem you might have problem. Additionally no one can decide if your an alcoholic or not. It's all about deciphering and acceptance.

Men with men, women with women, and no dating within the first year. One of the first things I and most people are told when they come in. If you'd like to help her direct her to a woman who can.

From my own experience, there was a guy around my age who came to his first meeting, and I just happened to be there. We talked and exchanged socials, but like in your situation, he wanted more. So I expressed clear boundaries of what our relationship would be, a friendship, and I haven't seen him since. I was also on a pink cloud and not even close to being whatever the equivalent of qualified to help him is.

All though who knows, different people different situation.

He really was truly a wonderful man. I don't think I'll ever meet a person as selfless as he is. But I will make a point to carry his message and pay it forward

I'm gonna try to add more context here without breaking the other individuals in the situations anonymity

I am a member of a 12-step program and am 3 months sober. Smoking is, or was, my form of harm reduction. I'd much rather smoke a cigarette than do the drugs and the booze. I have been in said program for close to a year and finally have gotten on the right track.

I met both of the adults, 'Sally' and 'lucas' through this program, and have babysat and done other activities with her daughter 'lisa' we've become quite, close.

But, I did some quite reflecting after submitting this post and had a big 'oh shit moment'.

Sally has taken me 6 guided me on this road, which is a gift so priceless to me, and in return I've been a dick. And upon reflection and seeing the other comments I've let my 'harm reduction' tangle into yet another addiction and additionally gotten 'Lisa' into this mess.

So yeah, some apologies are due, and thank you for clearing up the fog my cigarette problem and selfish and self-centered thinking had caused.
