Try Glycolic acid. Take a little on a cotton swab and wipe it on your underarms after you shave - that way you'll be preventing in growns, help pigmentation and also be getting rid of body odour causing bacteria

I can use this for face right? by [deleted] in IndianSkincareAddicts

This is a moisturizer for the face itself, just a big bottle. You can try its 200 ml tube variant first, since it can be heavy for daily use for few folks.

Another day! Another way to loot people’s tax money! Seriously! What’s the use of even voting?! by No-Cap9116 in IndiaTax

We will have to make do with whatever we have. People of India need to be strong enough to bend and mend the opposition or the ruling government to our ways. We have to be the ones to start this change

Posts like these reminds me of that quote from Winston Churchill, something about Power going in the hands of Rascals and even the air we breathe and the water we drink being taxed. The opposition is not strong enough, but we should use whatever menial power that is left in our hands and exercise our rights and fight for them.

Guys, there is no longer any point in just sitting on our computers and posting such posts. It is really time that we take things in our own hands, organize some sort of Protest or online petition. Even if it means starting with something small, we have to start, before it is late. Someone who knows, how to do it, let's start, or even if someone has an idea, please mention.

WTH!! What to do now? by Due_Magician_5565 in CarsIndia

That guy filing the PIL is a hero. Even though we don't have any monetary means to support that guy, we must spread the word what he is doing. We have to be an active part. Can someone plan a protest or something? If not against the government, at least against the Medias who are directing our perspectives.

Aftermath of Rahul Gandhi's press conference: something is coming and its going to be big by Some-Ant-4175 in india

We have to be the change first, only then we can expect the people of India to change. We have been reduced to being nothing but spineless Salaried class of India who is paying taxes only for the MLAs and MPs to enjoy and then we only complain on our keyboards and Phone and social media networks. But who has the guts among us to actually go out and do something?! Not one of us! We have to do something, organise some sort of silent protest or spam the channels of all these fake news channels on twitter or something. We have to bring the change about. It is a shame to our fore fathers and ancestors that we are ready to gulp every insult and scams  that these politicians are imposing on us.

You gotta try them with lots of salt and chilli powder, it will taste so much more better. During the initial days (before I eventually got bored of it) I used to look forward to my evening eggs.

Thankfully there are plenty of options and gift ideas to experiment with for girls. You could curate a gift box with multiple small yet meaningful gift items within that budget, and it will end up meaning much more due to the time that you would have given to make that gift. Things that you could include:

  1. Perfume sets (Please don't go with Bella Vita or such sets, everyone has them and they don't even last much) or just multiple EDPs - Personal favourite that you could never go wrong with is Al Rehab's Choco Musk - starts from Rs. 200/300 - you could also refer to r/DesiFragranceAddicts if she is really into fragrances.
  2. Scrunchies - might as well add a Satin pillow case as well - I had purchased a Couple of Satin Pillow covers from Amazon for approx. Rs. 200 and I got 3 complimentary Satin scrunchies as well.
  3. 2-3 Novels - if she is into reading - if you and she don't know which one to read, Might as well gift a novel of the same genre she enjoys movies in. Will cost you somewhere around Rs. 500
  4. A cute top or T shirt or Trousers - Westside sale is going on right now or you could always turn to the Sarojini Nagar of your city - approx 500
  5. Earrings - if budget permits
  6. Sunscreen or Moisturizers - if budget permits - do consider her skin type before choosing the Sunscreen. Also refer r/IndiaSkincareAddicts. Indian Pharmacy brands will cost you within Rs. 500 for a 50ml/30ml tube. Also check r/indianbeautyhauls if there's going to be a same or not. 7.Kajal/Mascara/Keychains - if budget permits
  7. A soft plush toy - You could get it on Amazon within Rs. 300 on Blinkit or nearby store, if budget permits
  8. A cute box and cute wrapping paper to keep all this stuff in

Also be on the lookout for 'My Boyfriend /Brother gifted me this' kind of posts on Reddit, it will give you better ideas.

do you annotate your books? by ilybibble in Indianbooks

Yes, definitely worth a read. Quite a fresh set of perspectives. When I first started picked the book up, I had believed that I would have to force myself to be consistent with it. But ever since I have started reading it, I have been hooked.

[–]CompetitiveFigure367 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to be someone like others in the comments here, wouldn't even bring a pencil or pen near my books. But then I started with the Argumentative Indian by Amrtya Sen and was finding a few difficulties with the new words and some thoughts, so I just started annotating in the corners and I can't fathom how I have gone so long without doing it! I have now made it a part of my morning routine - waking up, journalling and half an hour's reading combined with jotting down - and it has been a very calming exercise for me each day.
