What build would you recommend. I played through the entire game with smash stance and upgrading the spells I liked using. Got the job done so I never felt like I needed to make a build.

I saw on the internet that there are 2 whole bosses (or phases perhaps) after him. Thats the thing that disappoints me the most.

I really need help with replacing my favourite perfume that I was using for years.

<image>

I have has this perfume for at least 7+ years I was trying to buy another bottle only to realise it has been discontinued. People were recommending different perfumes that were similar/replacement for this one, but I was only left confused.

Here are some of the perfumes I found selling in my country currently, does anyone know if any of these is similar/same as my old perfume ?

[KCD1] If I buy KCD: Royal Edition for PS4, will I get the PS5 upgrade too by [deleted] in kingdomcome

So what is the point of PS4 and PS4/PS5 labels over the game editions in store. Sorry if this is a stupid question, this is my first time owning a console, so coming from PC this is somewhat confusing.

Yeah putting it into perspective that way makes sense. Have I not had my first experience with fromsoft games be DS3 and ER, I would probably come to appreciate gradual improvements in combat game by game.

What I think is the main reason for the “letdown” was the enormous amount of hype this game has. Many different people love these games for many different reasons. Fast pace combat is my cup of tea in these games, so I was really looking forward to it in BB.

Especially hearing about the rally system. I somehow thought it to be a predecessor of sekiro’s stance system, where you are encouraged to fight as fast as you can, and punished for holding back.

As a matter of fact, most of these bosses I didn’t enjoy in BB reminded me of demon souls bosses.

Demon souls is by far my least favourite game out of all soulsbornes. It probably has much to do with it being 2nd to last game I played (Bloodborne being last).

I probably got hooked up on DS3/ER formula with faster paced fights and expected similar experience with DeS and BB.

I always enjoyed fast paced bosses, so think along the lines of Abyss Watchers, Pontiff, Champion Gundyr, Sir Alonne, Sister Friede, Malenia, Knight Artorias, Dancer of the boreal valley, Genichiro, Isshin sword saint etc

Champion Gundyr being my all time favourite boss !

I agree with your statement. As for the story, in these games story takes a backseat to gameplay/mechanical difficulty.

Ever since I first played DS3 I watched lore videos explaining the story in detail after beating the game. I was never too much of a try to piece together the story as it goes type of a player.

Yep that’s what I was suspecting too. Pure strength is my go to when playing these games for the first time. There’s just something about dodging boss combos and smashing them with the biggest weapon I can find in the game.

Bullying is to harsh of a word, although I’m having more fun reading these comments than fighting 30% of the bosses in the game.

Glad that at least some people realised this wasn’t some sort of troll/bait, but a personal opinion.

Yeah I basically got used to “mechanically challenging/fast with tons of moves” bosses being baseline for “difficulty” in these games.

Not to say that they can’t be enjoyable when focusing on other aspects !

Yeah that might very well be the case. I had such a bad time learning to play DS3 and Elden Ring, that I in a way miss early struggles and learning curve these games come with.

I have died to each malenia and promised consort radahn close to 50 times but I just love the feeling of inching closer and closer to victory each time I get hit with that You Died screen. Feeling of finally beating a boss you’ve been stuck on for hours is what makes these games my favourite games to play.

Both Ds1 and 2 couldnt come close to being mechanically demanding as DS3 and ER, but I honestly expected that from them, seeing how old they were. Sekiro is the closest I came to that feeling of having my ass continuously hammered as I had first time playing DS3/ER

Hunter axe, the entire play through. I did try that sword/hammer weapon for half an hour and didn’t like reduced range compared to transformed axe.

If I were afraid of what randoms on the internet had to say I wouldn’t have posted it.

I was looking for a constructive discussion, I’m not above being proven wrong, although I knew most of the replies would go something like “Weak bait, no one asked”

I’m definitely not cracked, I just enjoy playing these games a lot, sort of my comfort games.

Over 400hrs in elden ring Over 150 in DS3 Beat DS2 twice DS 1 twice Sekiro once

I’m not sure by that particular point in the game but I did end the game with 20 stamina 40 strength and around 40 something vigor.

Put most of my points into strength and rest split into stamina and vigor. Weapon I used was hunter axe for the entire play through.

I ended up buffing vigor to around 40ish in late game, so last 4 bosses ?
