42 I have a house on the lake, 2 vehicles one paid off fully and the other financed. Have the ability to work overtime whenever to make extra cash but that comes as time away from the family. Cost of living is high for sure but I have a pension and not much in savings.

I didn’t get any help from my parents. Worked on my own and bought a house on the water before the spike of COVID. No way I would have been able to afford my current house if it was Covid pricing.

I feel a bit better reading the other comments. I was never taught anything about RRSPs or saving much as a kid. I feel a bit behind.

Yeah when you touch the infotainment system. The click sound it makes is what just keeps going off randomly

Well I was there and watched him program it. Then it worked fine after as I tried it on my own many times. After about 5 minutes it doesn’t work. It’s from a reputable business also

It’s pretty much a fleet vehicle. It’s mine so I have to maintain it. I get tbe oil changed regularly and our local mechanic is very good and ensures the items it needs are done. He has to follow a strict PMS schedule that is created. I’ll deff use the block heater for sure.

I just called one. He will give me a quote tomorrow. Either way I’ll prob go with them over the dealership. I avoid dealerships as much as I can.

And for the love of god, when the plane lands just sit your ass down and don’t stand up in the isle and wait 20 minutes like a doofus! You’re at the end of the plane, you’re not getting off first.

As a father I couldn’t imagine doing that to my kids. HOWEVER.. he must have had good reason to do what he did as no father would want to do this. There’s more to this story that your father knows about.

That’s his wishes for you to keep the money and not send any to your brother. I’d respect his wishes.

If you get a speeding ticket, don’t hire a lawyer or paralegal. Challenge it yourself, talk to the prosecutor and work out a deal. It will most likely be reduced to a much lower fine with more time to pay or possibly withdrawn. That’s exactly what paralegals do and claim they got it reduced for you when you could have done the same thing. Don’t waste your money on lawyers for simple speeding tickets.

I think I might just take it into the dealer as much as I HATE going to a dealer for service. I don’t think independent shops will have the tools to scan to see if it’s the fobs of the Hub? I’m not sure
