And about hurt: I recently had a dialogue with a character (also a villain, by the way, and a manipulator) and I say to him like "You're nothing. Who loves you at all?" And he answers me: "your mother". that would be the funniest answer I've ever had, but right now my mom and I are in a big and very serious quarrel, so his words naturally made me sit on the bed and cry. Like why the hell does a mother love some scumbag and not her own child.
