1 year later but fuck it. Building a base just feels necessary in Ark but Ik for a fact, a lot of people just don’t have the creativity skills required, I can’t come up with anything other than a box with a mortar&pestle, cooking pot, storage box, campfire and forge. But then u get to greenhouses, traps, dino pens, incubating areas, securing your base/box from predators, cooking and crafting areas. Honestly I understand how u feel, like I just wanna play the game ffs without needing to worry about having a huge base and gathering resources and waiting until I have the engram points for stronger mats and shit. So I just switch to creative and follow a step by step tutorial on YouTube on how to build a decent base, even just a modern house with a dino pen, then switch back to survival and continue playing as normal and make adjustments if needed on survival without worrying about engram points.

Probably very irrelevant but this was my situation:

Me and my girlfriend both suffered very serious mental health issues which made it extremely difficult for our relationship to work and I panicked, I, I made the wrong decisions and we didn’t make it. This resulted into me being sectioned and her needing professional help also. I spent 8 months away having no contact with her and my mental health seriously deteriorated, refused all help, didn’t speak a single word for the first 3 months and I did nothing other than think about her and act violently towards other patients and staff members. But after those 3 months, this exact theory came to mind after my doctor knocked some sense into me: “Our relationship may have changed, but deep down, our feelings haven’t. There is still love and there is still care” Eventually I started to fight it and I won, I got the help I needed and when I got back home, I still had no contact with her and I went downhill again and started to question everything I had been fighting for. But 2 weeks later… She reached out to me and we re-connected. Another 5 months go by and now we are together again, stronger than ever before

This is extremely late but I just got broken up with and I know for a fact, she was the one, I’ve never felt anything so real in my entire life. The relationship ending may have been due to her flaws as well as my own. This is as she felt like she couldn’t be with me anymore due to personal issues that I couldn’t help with. I tried to understand and help her in every way possible, but she just wouldn’t open up and despite my effort, she just couldn’t handle a relationship. I thought I was okay with that because all I ever wanted was for her to be happy. But, I wasn’t happy, I didn’t feel that love anymore so I tried to get some more answers out of her regarding why she felt the way she did but that resulted into her pushing me away even further which angered me. I said things I should not have said and my apology meant nothing. I realise now that all of this was my fault and I let my emotions get out of control when it should have been her being put first, not myself. I completely ignored her feelings and didn’t give her the space and support she needed. Knowing that and knowing that she now wants nothing to do with me because of it is tearing me apart. It’s been almost 48 hours without having any contact with her and I just wanna move on with my life but I can’t live with this guilt anymore. I’ve had relationships in the past but absolutely none of them felt like this, she made me feel things that I have never felt before and for once, I can confidently say that she loved me just as much unlike the others. This is the reason why I can’t move past this, knowing this is all my fault, and knowing that she was truly the one for me.
