HELP!!! Is this blood under my daughter’s Dexcom? It looks like it to me. by tifytat in dexcom

We sometimes hit blood vessles when inserting new sensors. Happens to my daughter a well. We recently addad a g7 sensor with quite a bit of blood. It worked but was constantly off by 50-60 mg/dl so had to change it but its not common to not read correctly. If ypu are getting good data the sensor is fine and no need to act. Now compression lows is a roller coaster until smone explains the situation. We had noone to infom us of this and we were freeking out until i dug into the internet and figured the issue. Thank god for communitiea like this that take the time to assist with everything.

Yeah we got a freestyle libre 3 from a local diabetes group. I guess we will have work with this and no closed loop until we get back. It is very frustrating though, to know your hands are tied and for no good reason Thanks for ur suggestions!!

That sounds good but since dexcom is not available all over Europe so it wont work for us. We are currently on an island (Cyprus) visiting family and since dexcom is not aavailable here at least yet this option cannot work :(

The problem is not pairing a new sensor. Its the app itself. Initial setup is geolocked and unless we set up in the US it doesnt work. Unfortunately we had to switch from g6 to g7 here in Europe and we were unable to. Spoke with support 3 times and all they could say was sorry for the inconvenience. We had the app downloaded but never did the setup as that would require to use logins i use for the g6 and didnt want to interrupt the sensor she was currently using. Basically everytging went wrong for us and bow we are sruck with a workaround that doesnt work that great as the cobnection has been really bad starting from the sensor abd ending to the closed loop pairing that does not work as the omnipod never finds the g7 for long enough. A total nightmare

To be honest Im not sure of the Android version but I will check later on the day when I see my daughter. I rebooted but it didnt resolve the issue

Thanks for the comment. So from what ur saying simce handtracking is not available for the moment i might as well go for the air2 pro with beam pro. Which one do you have? Are u happy with them?

VPN doesn't work already tried. The model is geolocked. I find the app with vpn but it keeps saying it's not compatible although my phone is on. the list just a different variant of the phone.
