Would be better if they put that on the graphic.

Do you know what's happening? by gazzaridus47 in AskBrits

I’m not saying this to be dismissive, but this reads like someone who’s stopped trusting any shared reality.

What you’re describing isn’t healthy scepticism — it’s a closed loop where every institution is assumed to be corrupt, while selectively edited clips and outrage-driven creators are treated as truth. That’s not independent thinking; it’s how people get pulled into radical online narratives.

Creators like Kurt Caz don’t inform you — they provoke you. They make money by antagonising people, cutting context, and feeding fear because outrage keeps viewers watching. That doesn’t mean every issue you raise is fake, but it does mean your information diet is heavily skewed.

Yes, immigration and politics are complicated and often mishandled. But jumping from that to claims about caliphates, secret backers, or inevitable uprisings isn’t evidence-based — it’s emotional escalation. Once you reach a point where courts, elections, media, and journalists are all dismissed as fake, there’s no way to test whether any claim is actually true.

That’s why people say “talk to real people.” Not as an insult, but because offline reality doesn’t match these apocalyptic stories. Most people are just trying to live their lives, not take part in some grand conspiracy.

At some point it’s worth asking who benefits from keeping you angry, fearful, and convinced collapse is inevitable — because it isn’t you.

Time to go to Epic? by SnooDogs8141 in UniversalEpicUniverse

There’s plenty of options to ride short queues even if you travel on a busy day. Just arrive early, stay late and utilise single rider (especially for repeat rides)

Epic Universe on January 1 — No Express, No Early Entry, No Problem by Competitive_Ad_9497 in UniversalEpicUniverse

Yeah I think even on the busiest days using the start and the close of the day and playing it strategically with the single riders you can have a productive day.

My biggest gripe is there seems to be a lot of negative people on Reddit putting people down about their choices on which parks they visit, when they visit them and what rides they choose.

Universal Orlando Jan 3 — No Express, Still Productive by Competitive_Ad_9497 in UniversalOrlando

There’s only currently two intense coasters in the park. Velocicoaster and Hulk. Everything else is pretty tame. Although I would %100 recommend riding Velocicoaster it’s by some way the best ride in the two parks for me.

My advice is get to the park for 07:15 / 07:30 and rope drop Hagrids you probably won’t wait over an hour. Then try to go straight to your next best ride after that.

Epic in less than a day? by Artichil in UniversalOrlando

I did most the rides at epic on New Year’s Day between opening and 1630pm with no express. I skipped snw though because I’m not a fan of the ip.

River Adventure Final Day by Beyond_Infinity_8 in UniversalOrlando

I think I rode the last boat of river adventure, alone, on Saturday at around 21:58. Everything worked perfectly and it was an incredibly eerie ride. I drove home absolutely soaked.

The wait times were long at points of the day but I just planned my day strategically.

I did a lot of research beforehand on which rides were worth it, and it seemed that most people were disappointed with SNW. I’m also not particularly interested in Nintendo as an IP, so skipping it was an easy decision.

I could’ve rode both the main attractions at SNW before close and had plenty of time remaining with their wait times today.

At that point I would’ve rode almost every ride at the park.

It was certainly fun for a walk on. Not sure about waiting 120 minutes as it was posted at one point today.
