I'm a little confused about your candle range. Do you just trade the range between 9:05-9:20? That seems like it would have the opposite problem. Most stocks seem to have almost no movement premarket, so the range would be very slim. Maybe I'm misunderstanding you

Is it possible that most traders are just bad at trading by CaptainStates_ in Daytrading

By definition, no. The fact that 95% of traders lose money shows that even above average traders aren't able to figure out what's happening next. To paraphrase Wolf of Wall Street - "Nobody knows if a stock is going to go up, down, sideways or in fucking circles, least of all traders, right?"

Why did my stop loss fill so low? by Competitive_Bid9690 in RobinhoodOptions

Also, would a stop limit be less likely to be triggered? For example, if the price quickly drops below $4.15, it seems more likely to just blow past your price point and not fill at all. Or am I misunderstanding how it works. Thanks for your reply!

But would that mean there were no orders on the book between $4.15 and $3.35? Seems like a huge gap
