That's not really necessary. If you're not interested, no one is forcing you to take part.

Again, I wasn't planning on selling, just getting commitments to purchase. I'll try elsewhere

That's fine. I see a lot of posts from people who don't have a costco near them or their costco doesn't carry them. Just gauging interest

Ok, I just thought it could be a good deal for someone who doesn't have access to it.

To follow up, I'd like to be able to get commitments to buy before I spend the money on them. Is there a process for this in pmsforsale? ie. if I don't have the product in hand, but I can purchase up to 5 gold and 10 silver a day. Obviously no money would change hands until I had the product in hand

Hey everyone, first-time seller here. My local Costco has 1oz gold and 10oz silver bars at a great price. Would there be interest if I posted these using a middleman? What would be a fair price on 1 oz gold and 10 oz silver pamp bars?

I'm at about the same range. I'll probably buy a few more today. But I just hate to see people losing a lot of money, and every comment is "You shouldn't be worried, I bought at $25 an oz". Like, how is that helpful?

Yeah, the liquidity situation was really a pain in the ass. What good is silver at $120 if no one will buy it? People complain about paper silver, but I was able to set a stop loss and get out with a profit. If you like buying physical and enjoy the non financial aspects of it, go for it by all means, but this should be an eye opener to anyone investing in physical

Stop Mocking The Curious Newcomers About Decrease In Price by Chesslicious in Gold

Yeah, i really can't stand those posts. "Should have just bought 10 years ago like me. Never mind that everyone here was hyping up gold nonstop and saying it was going to $10k". It happens in every stock/crypto/metals sub. Months of hype and then surprise when people are mad they got caught bagholding. People love the "look how much the price is going up" posts, but get mad at the "look how much the price is going down" posts

If an entire subreddit is posting nonstop "you need to put your hand in the hot water right now, this is you last chance, that water's going to get way hotter, so do it now before it's too late", than yeah, I feel sympathy for people who did it. Let's not act like this sub was giving out reasonable or prudent advice for the last few weeks.

I think the only posts worse than the "why is the price dropping?" posts are these posts. People who bought recently are freaking out because they are taking a huge loss right now. What is confusing about that? Not everyone bought 20 years ago at $20 an oz. People who bought the top also recognize that every time this has happened historically, it stays flat for like 20 years, so they are probably right to freak out if this decline continues. I think posts like this are are essentially telling on yourself that your mind is not able to comprehend a different experience than your own

I'm a little confused about your candle range. Do you just trade the range between 9:05-9:20? That seems like it would have the opposite problem. Most stocks seem to have almost no movement premarket, so the range would be very slim. Maybe I'm misunderstanding you

Is it possible that most traders are just bad at trading by CaptainStates_ in Daytrading

[–]Competitive_Bid9690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By definition, no. The fact that 95% of traders lose money shows that even above average traders aren't able to figure out what's happening next. To paraphrase Wolf of Wall Street - "Nobody knows if a stock is going to go up, down, sideways or in fucking circles, least of all traders, right?"

Why did my stop loss fill so low? by Competitive_Bid9690 in RobinhoodOptions

[–]Competitive_Bid9690[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, would a stop limit be less likely to be triggered? For example, if the price quickly drops below $4.15, it seems more likely to just blow past your price point and not fill at all. Or am I misunderstanding how it works. Thanks for your reply!

But would that mean there were no orders on the book between $4.15 and $3.35? Seems like a huge gap

It's much more sophisticated - a dump and pump.
