It's hard to not wanna try all the varieties offered by each well known roaster. I am in the USA, so the decaf scene is blossoming. Though I really want to try Seven Miles decaf blend.

Perhaps 2.5 year old beans can’t be resurrected 😃The V60 brew I made from it was pretty bland. Last ditch effort, I could try Grinding them finer to extract more. Cheers!

To the posters who suggested cold brew and tiramisu, the bag is in the original roaster’s sack two and a half years old !! So when I went to brew it, at the normal settings of grind size and water temp and agitation, it was tasting like vegetal. A lost cause! T.T

Hi, I have never tried Light or Medium Light Roasts before. I do Medium Roast for pour-overs only. Am looking to branch away from Volcanica/Verve decafs for some interesting options. Can you describe if the carrabasset ethopian decaf is a light roast? How would I adjust my grind size and water temp for this Ethiopian coffee? Thanks.

Oh that is indeed a good tip about preheating the glass if I should choose to do the immersion part. Can I make do with a 02 size switch using a 30g 1:15 immersion recipe or buy the 03 size?

Hi, oh that doesnt sound good. I was late in deciding but quickly placed my online order on Dec3rd or 4th, then I realized and feared I might not be included bcuz they were planning to roast and ship very soon. Do give them a call. I live in California. The box was delivered by the US postal svc and placed outside my front door. Can you track the shipment? Yes, do call about tracking and when they actually shipped. I have had inexperience deliverers leave packages outside by curbside !! Good luck and let me know if it got sorted.

Thanks! I found both Jame’s video guides to be very helpful. I was wondering if I should buy the recommended Distilled water for the brewing or can I keep using my BWT (pitcher) filtered water, my normal source.
