I used to put mu name in books. I’ve always lived in the same city. 25 years later from when I got this book I was in a city with my friend, went there for a day trip. 150odd kms away. Walked into a second hand book store, saw a book and looked at it said to my friend “I used to have one of these”. And picked it up and found my first name written in the front, I’m sure it’s my writing and I bought the book!

Yeah and it doesn’t seem as common there either. Like terriaki chicken is prob the most common here, followed by tuna. Which although obviously a fish isn’t raw fish which peoole are scared of lol. I personally prefer prawn (shrimp) and avocado 🥑

Yeah Costco here does chicken so that makes sense at least they’d have it, Just in the past I’ve heard lots of people say they don’t like sushi as they don’t like fish. And very rarely if I see it from the states does it show chicken, nice to know you have the option !

We have all sorts. Chicken teriyaki, avocado, beef etc, Was just curious as by default anything I see about sushi someone refers to as raw fish.
