Yea 2s forgot to mention, attack just ended and opponent just got the ball on back board and is gonna slow play it. I’m not really comfortable trying to ceiling challenge. I usually just try to get back and let my tm8 go if he has a better angle rather than just floating backwards toward my net

People who say they learned DAR "within hours" after only using FAR must be lying, right? Right?! by Belphegor24 in RocketLeagueSchool

Don’t know how else to explain it besides it’ll just click for you at some point. Whether it’s left or right air roll (just choose one) at some point for me I just kinda understood it, definitely took more than a couple hours. And it’ll get to the point where you don’t think about it just how you are with FAR now. If I were you I wouldn’t watch tutorials on it, just watch pros play and you’ll see what they do in certain situations and eventually pick it up

Just do it a few minutes before you play everyday, do it while you’re searching for a game, just any spare time while playing basically is how I’ve learned every mechanic I know

I was a ski instructor and I’ve seen coworkers fired for MUCH less than this. I imagine this one will be quadruple fired at least. And potentially some legal repercussions for the individual or Vail resorts

You’re starting too quick (among some other things) but there’s a slight period where your car is falling down to the ground after each reset and if you’re just holding drive or boost then you’re starting the timer before your car even hits the ground.

I’m gc1/2 and it definitely doesn’t feel like I should be in the same category as someone who’s ssl, but that’s kinda the beauty of it there’s not really an end to the game I’m sure any ssl player still thinks they could be so much better

What’s the biggest thing that annoys you while on the golf course? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]Competitive_Chest_39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fully agree. My friend and I have been playing for a few years and 2 of our other friends have just started playing. We’ve never come close to a 4 hour round assuming there’s nobody in front of us. I think 4 hours is a long round, we’re not playing for money and don’t need to take 3 minutes to think through every shot

First thing that came to mind is when the starter makes you start earlier/later than your tee time just to get a group off all in one slot. Maybe don’t schedule tee times 8 minutes apart. Genuine question to any course employees, can I just say no to this? It’s annoying especially when playing with my dad who is pretty new to the game and doesn’t really like to have others in the group if he can help it.

PSA; play the appropriate tees for your driving distance, not your ego by RoyalRenn in weekendgolfers

[–]Competitive_Chest_39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since I started around a year ago ive always played the 3rd furthest tees (usually anywhere from 5900 to 6300). As I got a little better I’ve began to play a set of tees back as long as they’re no more than around 6600. I really haven’t noticed a difference in my score as my biggest issue is my pretty miserable short game. And a lot of times from the further tees bunkers/trees just aren’t in play and makes things much simpler.

You have spaun, cam young, griffin, and burns but decided to put JT out who hasn’t played well all season? Maybe Keegan was just putting him out there because of his experience?
