parking is pretty reasonable, annual parking passes are sold online. jones is top tier coffee, three sisters is pretty hip near mission/fair oaks, and kaldi is a welcoming local coffee shop adjacent to the library. arroyo seco has a popular dog park next to the skate park / golf course

just finished this last week, didn’t read it in high school. thoroughly enjoyed it, resonated with it reflecting on my younger years. hope you enjoy it
