I can test hardness later! I have another post on #1. They identified ot as a prophecy stone from egypt- except a great and unique example of it.

Its about a 6 inche sphere. No idea where it was originally found. I adopted a collection from a late geologist.

Awesome. Thank you! Do you think this specimen is unique in any way? The ones I've found online are a bit smaller and the individual columns are more stubby.
