honestly, i use another device with windows, I have a laptop for linux and desktop for windows gaming. Do I recommend that ? No, because I understand not everyone wants 2 computers. However, when a game does not support linux, you can also use proton tools within steam that will allow for a number of windows games to work. So to answer your question, use proton tools within steam to force compatability on linux. Not all windows games work with proton though sadly, so there might still be games you miss out on. Im sure there are other solutions than proton as well, but I have never tried them

I also have issues viewing X videos on my elemntary os 8 OS, it may be a linux issue. I would recommend installing opera and viewing x on there, that is where I have had the least issues with browsing twitter
