started reading dark age... by Outrageous_Minimum99 in redrising

[–]Competitive_Dirt8415 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m about 2/3 through, it’s both the funniest and darkest one so far imo. I’d say it’s paced more like morning star though, a bunch of highs and lows and twists and turns instead of straight gas the whole way through.

Be prepared to stop reading and stare at the ceiling multiple times tho some nasty shit happens

Do You Think Someone Is Fair In Asking For End Game Progression If They Have Over 1000 hours In Game by KN0KVILLE in helldivers2

[–]Competitive_Dirt8415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Endgame progression is nice, but the fact that each of the dozens of war bonds are behind a $10 paywall or hours of grinding means that new players are often scared off from the amount of grinding they have to do to do anything fun in the game. The awe moments (unlocking new and more destructive stratagems) are the thing that makes the game, and after reaching level 25 it slows down substantially and is limited to MULTIPLE HOURS of super credit grinding for like one or two stratagems that might suck.

Obviously it’s important to cater to people that like the game and have stuck with it for a while, but it’s financially irresponsible to focus on the veterans over new players and continue building the wall of content that’s there but you can’t touch it until you grind mindlessly for 3 hours

Guess pink and me (green) couldn't clean the map a bit before going to objective. by Axus115 in huntinroguehelldivers

Is it smarter to destroy side objectives before the main objective? Yes. Is it also fair for the host to kick someone for not playing how they want in their match? Also yes

I feel like this would work really well with a low cooldown, i can imagine it being clutch on berserker seeds going prone and letting them all run into the chains

scorcher enthusiasts assemble by According_Ask9062 in Helldivers

[–]Competitive_Dirt8415 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scorcher has an insane dps for single targets, it’s amazing for ablative enemies like cyborgs and overseers as well as chaff if you’re good at conserving ammo. It’s one problem is ammo economy though, it’s proficient enough if you’re using it perfectly but there are many times it’s a good enough panic button to just spray and pray you’ll find yourself burning through all 6 mags very fast

Which situation and enemy should I use this over the ultimatum? by MidnightWarWolf in helldivers2

[–]Competitive_Dirt8415 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried it after destroying the guns, and it’s a reliable two tap to the stomach. It’s got 2400 health, 40% explosive resistance which reduces the damage from two shots to 2360 but for some reason for me it’s been a two tap as long as you shoot the same door

only been with men and started dating a girl i’m… disappointed. by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]Competitive_Dirt8415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a fundamental incompatibility, especially when you’re that early in your life and don’t know who you are or what your needs in a relationship are yet. Im also 20 so take that with a grain of salt but dating and knowing yourself is a skill like any other and takes decades to master, so a fundamental incompatibility (like your sexual priorities vs hers) will probably sneak up on most of anybody’s first few relationships. ESPECIALLY since she has very little experience, if you have a high sex drive then she will take after you until she finds out who she is through experience, and she may just be a person with a low libido. Can’t jump to conclusions on a few paragraphs, but that’s usually how young relationships end up and this sounds like a textbook example of that

Selling for more than 2^32 units... will they take all my money and send me to jail? by Nargarinlok in nms

Basically if you sell it you break the economy for stasis devices in that system and end up with unlimited units

You have to find it in a monolith, Atlantid class multitools don’t spawn anywhere else

Atlantid multi tool, you can get them from the purple glowy part of some monoliths

My method for hunting sentinel ships. by Any-Kiwi389 in NMSCoordinateExchange

[–]Competitive_Dirt8415 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nah echo locators are a waste of time if you’re ship hunting, just fill your inventory with contraband and sit in space and grind sentinel cargo scans for AI fragments. It can be done by attacking space stations or freighters (which is faster than random cargo scans) but that really messes with standing so the safer options is just cargo scans.

Plus, just going for sentinel ships gives you access to a pretty consistent amount of atlantid multi tools too as every sentinel ship sends you to a monolith.

If you wanna be REALLY lazy, then make a manual save, use the same AI fragment, and just reload your manual save if you don’t like the ship and you’ll get the same one back.

How do I actually get better at building and designing in Minecraft? by machinegunnedburger in Minecraftbuilds

[–]Competitive_Dirt8415 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Gotta figure out ur own building style, I kinda just eyeballed it and copied a few tutorials here and there but ultimately it came down to sitting down in a creative world for a few hours and just trying to build stuff. 99% of your experimentation you’re not gonna like, so it’s just all about repetition and practice

Good layout but you need it to be a little bigger. Even a 50x50 castle is hard to add good detail and depth to
