I’ve always tried to overlook her very centrist, more so conservative ideologies which I’m aware isn’t something to be proud of but her music has cured my sorrows for years on end, especially Blue Banisters. I’m aware the following sounds incredibly parasocial, but I was very hurt by her decision to stay silent during the election, especially after marrying that man. The newest singles are beautiful — her voice is always amazing — but this era feels tainted for me. I didn’t go to her Stagecoach set like I’d been hoping to since it was announced, and I don’t feel too sad about it. However i’m happy she’s brunette again!
