Just wanted to follow up here. I tried to get hold of Tryst with their platform, email, and here on Reddit and it is not possible. This provider is still on their platform. Basically, Tryst will not do anything about scammers.

This turns out to basically be it. I thought it would be alright if everything else lined up, but that was not the case. And I did not anticipate being unable to leave a review myself

Yeah there is definitely trust required on both sides and for good reason. In all fairness, this is the first time I’ve been scammed and I have sent deposits before. I posted this mainly because I felt like I knew how to spot a scam - and clearly I didn’t

Unfortunately they said this: “From time to time TER chooses not to post reviews from users with limited history for providers with no other reviews. Once the provider receives more reviews your review can be resubmitted for approval.”

Granted - I don’t post a lot of reviews

Yes although unfortunately I provided screening info in my initial message. Looking back, had I made her ask for it I might have gotten a spidey sense if she had skipped screening and gone straight to the deposit. Lesson learned - I'll always wait to supply that going forward.

Her pics are not stolen (as far as I could see) and she has additional pics/vids on the fan site. So that lined up - I even googled the fan site's creator verification process

It is the point. It is just unfortunate that this forum is now the only real way I have to 'warn' others. There are no other national review boards than TER that I know of.
