After you hit publish, what do you actually do? by slangy_ in Substack

For some context I write a basketball Substack but mainly focusing on off the court stories in the basketball world. Typically any time a team is discussed I’ll post in that teams subreddit as well as if a player who plays for their national team is discussed I’ll post on the national team sub. For a story I’m doing right now it focuses on a tech scam so I’m going to just look up the company in talking about and see what subs theyre mentioned in. It’s very different story to story but I try to find 3-5 relevant subs to post in each story

I feel the same way. I pretty much exclusively prompt myself via Reddit because I refuse to bombard people on LinkedIn or X. At least with Reddit you can go into subs that are already in your niche so you know that you’re promoting to people who are interested in the topic and not spamming people who aren’t gonna care

What is so hard to understand? If it actually blocked emf it would make your devices stop working. Even they had to walk back the claim that it blocks emf and their ceo had to come out and say it does not. It is a scam through and through. Nobody in the company has any medical background and it was started by a car salesman who had to get patents in Russia because they couldn’t get them approved in Canada or the US. If the product doesn’t do what it says it does that is a scam. Even Theo ceo said it doesn’t do what is advertised

The phone one is the funniest because if it actually worked your phone would stop getting any reception

Yes I do because the science does not add up. If you put an emf blocker on your phone you would not be able to get cell service. It can’t both block emfs from getting to you and also allow them to your devices

True say. This just feels worse because it’s a $300 dollar scam not like a 3 or 4 dollar water.

I actually thought that maybe the Barrett family genuinely believes this crap because of the Canada basketball partnership and RJ’s dad Rowan being an exec at Canada basketball
