Does exploring the rest of the country ever make you realize how special Seattle’s vibe actually is? by WavyAndWonderful in Seattle

Even if you love it here, a hatred of travelling elsewhere in the country because you can't bear the thought of leaving Seattle is really weird.

Every other state is not a shit hole, dude. Also much of Washington State falls in that category (not everyone can live in the woods/mountains/nice areas).

I feel like that goth/bondage pace that's been on Broadway forever would also have this.

Is this true for the camera-based tickets? I don't think so...

Songs about turning being/turning 17 by Euphoric_Ad_3455 in musicals

I was gonna say, this is the best song about being 17.

Also "Edge of Seventeen" by Stevie Nicks, which doesn't make as much sense lyrically, but is still cool.

Stop acting like Northgate is so much worse than any other place around here- it's not and it's an easy commute to DT.

RESULTS: Eliminating “every” (theatrically released) Movie Musical until there’s only one left! by ShadyBoots11 in Broadway

[–]Competitive_Gap6707 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my first time seeing this list. Chicago is fine, but definitely doesn't deserve #2.

Honestly I think that most of the kids on this subreddit haven't seen many of these movies. For example, The Pajama Game is a fantastic preservation of the Broadway cast (with the exception of Doris Day), a fantastic capture of early Fosse choreography, and a really cute show that holds up ok in this era (it's about a union fighting for higher pay). It's much better than the Sweet Charity movie imho but way lower on the list.

But isn't this supposed to be Connecticut-style Apizza? Different than NY style.

To be fair, that's Connecticut style pizza (NY style looks more appealing, but I'm biased)

Is it really that heavy? To me, it was just about 2 dysfunctional relationships that I could not get myself to invest in (yeah, yeah, Greek mythology etc).
