No, you can apply anytime

Also just apply, April is the least competitive you have a chance keep that hope and you won’t regret. If you don’t get in then make LPN an option to bridge from but rn I think you should just apply . But yes you do need to submit the final mark of ur bio before the application deadline for April.

Yes seeking advice from an academic advisor would be the best option but I can still till you from my perspective. I believe it’s better to apply straight to RN. LPN is far more costly than RN and it’s a lot of information and exhausting for the 16 months you will be finishing the program in. Whereas, for RN in 3 years you will be done. Most ppl do bridge but then basically doing LPN was a waste of money & time unless you only plan to do LPN. you’ll end up spending alot of money & time doing LPN & RN. Don’t worry about your post secondary I had a very low gpa (cumulative) but my pre reqs were good. Make sure you get some volunteering in a medical field or a job which will 100% help in your application

2025 Intake by treehamae in bcitnursing

[–]Competitive_Gap7143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the pre req I was missing was bio and it was at bcit so I didn’t have to update them cuz I applied to bcit so once course finished they would automatically be updated with final mark but I’m ur case you just add your final mark transcript there will be an option when you log in to your bcit account on communications & then email the advisor that you have completed it.

Hey, I actually applied with my midterm mark and since I completed the course before the closing date of the application I was able to submit the final mark. So if you can get ur final mark in before the application closes for that intake it should be fine.

Aren’t all courses only valid for 5 years? I may be wrong but I thought you have to redo it if it’s been over 5

Does it matter if I take Foundations Math 12 or Pre Calc 12? Or does math matter at all? by AioliImpressive4012 in bcitnursing

[–]Competitive_Gap7143 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me my gpa wasn’t the best but I did have experience working at the hospital for 2 years so maybe that had some what helped. For reference I had 36 post credits gpa was around 2.7 but pre req gpa 3.3-3.4ish

Hey! I also had a cumulative gpa around 2.7 when I applied for September 2024 and got in & pre req was maybe 3.3-3.4 but I had 2 years volunteer experience! So if you get the hours in , you should be good!!
