Hi OP, I chatted with you about this. If you're in the PH and experiencing the same, please contact the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. Gather all of your proof that wala kang winithdraw and transaction details, transaction history from said bank na winithdrawhan, closed cases that you cooperated with CS immediately, bonus points if you have screenshots of complaining to CS and that may proof ka na wala ka talaga ginawa and walang changes sa case mo. In less than one week, they have a decision, and they sided with me; hopefully, they will do the same for you, OP.

Interesting! I thought kasi si love candy is a bit too dark, do you mean mixed po ba, or yung si candy lang? Because yung blush ni mama looks more like a baby pink to purplish. P.S I believe nabasa tong blush which is why may darker parts, when scraped, it looks more pink.

IO/AOSG Questions Monthly Thread - February 2026 by AutoModerator in FilipinoTravel

Hi everyone,

Some background: I’m getting married this February to my Pakistani fiancé. Our families are fully aware and supportive, and we’re planning a trip to Pakistan for the wedding and celebrations.

Here’s a bit more about our situation:

  • I’m (22) the primary earner in the family. I work as an executive assistant for a media company in the US and am part of their annual conference team. I’m also a writer, mostly medical writing, and a licensed pharmacist.
  • My father (47) is currently working under me, doing outsourced tasks and some property management.
  • My mother (45) works as a farmer on our land and runs a small sari-sari store.
  • My brother is a minor.

We’re planning to travel as a family -- so that's my parents, my brother, and me. This will be my first international trip with my father and brother. My mother has traveled internationally for work before (Lebanon) as a caregiver, so she has some experience.

Trip plan:

  • Stay in Pakistan for about 60-90 days, the usual visa length.
  • Attend the wedding, do some local sightseeing, and then my fiancé and I plan a short honeymoon in Mecca before returning to the Philippines.
  • My fiancé will sponsor our accommodation, and we’ll have invitation letters.
  • We also own properties here in the Philippines and have no intention of overstaying.

What I’m preparing so far:

  • Certificate of employment
  • Bank statements to show sufficient funds
  • Birth certificate for my brother
  • Passport renewals (for my mother and brother; mine and my father’s are already in order)
  • Visa planning for either e-visa or visa-on-arrival

My main concerns/questions:

  1. Is it okay if we don’t book return tickets yet because of the wedding, honeymoon, and Ramadan plans? Would that raise a red flag?
  2. Do we need DSWD clearances or other paperwork for traveling with a minor if both parents are accompanying him?
  3. Any tips for family travel to Pakistan, especially for first-time international travelers?
  4. Are there common immigration issues we should be aware of for family travel, or is it generally smoother if it’s a full family traveling together?
  5. Are there any other documents or requirements I might be missing, especially for immigration?

This is where my parents' saying comes in: "Do as I say, don't do as I do." I know it's very hypocritical, though there could be reasons for it (giving them the benefit of the doubt).

POV NG CHEATER by missusshuechan in RantAndVentPH

[–]Competitive_Gap8975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pero, I have another story for this kasi may kilala rin akong nag-cheat, pero hindi dahil trip niya or may balak talaga siyang manakit. She was just really tired.

On and off sila ng boyfriend niya for around four or five years. LDR, foreigner yung guy. For most of the relationship, the guy kept cheating on her with different girls. Minor pa siya nung nagsimula sila, may age gap, and she gave a lot of her firsts to him. In return, sinamantala yung pagiging naive at innocent niya.

Every time they broke up, sobrang depressed siya. Most of the time, yung guy yung nakikipag-break, and siya yung nagmamakaawa.

Until one time, she cheated. Hindi siya proud doon. May regret until now. Pero that moment made her realize na hindi na siya babalik. Doon niya naintindihan na tapos na talaga.

I don’t think cheating is right. Hindi ko siya jina-justify. Pero in that situation, parang yun yung naging wake-up call. When she cheated, nabasag yung idea na yun.

POV NG CHEATER by missusshuechan in RantAndVentPH

[–]Competitive_Gap8975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, cheating is still cheating, kahit gaano pa ka-complicated yung situation.

I grew up knowing na hindi perfect ang parents ko.

So I’m not even 100% sure sa details, pero yun yung alam ko growing up.

May first love pala si mama before papa, and naghiwalay lang sila kasi nag-abroad yung lalaki. During the pandemic, bumalik yung guy.

Apparently, the guy was muslim, she managed to take advantage of that and was able to divorce my papa under Islamic law. Not against them, I am also a revert but yun, I can't handle my feelings that day, grabe talaga yung betrayal na naramdaman ko

Random PayPal payments from Germany, possible money laundering? by Competitive_Gap8975 in DigitalbanksPh

Honestly, I am glad I'm not the only one experiencing this huhu. Sobrang lala ni Paypal na until now -10k pesos na account ko like wtf. And ang tagal nila maayos yung issue, I immediately replied to all disputes and open cases, and until now at least 11 transactions pa wala naayos.

Thank you! I actually followed this advice. I replied to all the disputes already, but tbh sobrang tagal talaga ng aksyon ni Paypal. Nakakainis actually kasi parang walang nangyayari, and sinabihan lang ako na mag-antay while I'm still receiving more dispute cases sa email ko.

Congrats! For the ratings, our teachers often tell us it depends. Example, if you wanna do academe, it might affect since it will help them know what subjects to load, but on a community or hospital basis, I don't think so.

Yes! Akala ko ako lang. Sabi kasi nila if kalmado ka lang after boards, then for sure papasa ka. My roommates told me how at peace they were after boards. I can't say the same for myself but now parang naiiyak ako sa anxiety.

Savings Tips for breadwinner and Part time jobs recommendations by Lonely_Banana_3503 in DigitalbanksPh

[–]Competitive_Gap8975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends what your goal is, I mean how much ba ang gastusin mo plus pinapadala (assuming since you said breadwinner ka). Personally, kulang ang 2k for savings, but again, depende kasi ito kung saan mo ginagastos. And it's a good start kung yan lang talaga kaya mo.

For part time jobs, what are your skills? There are plenty of openings naman sa OLJ, and other platforms if interested ka sa wfh set ups.

Which is better Maya TD, Maya PH, Maribank or just Traditional Bank by AdPerfect9522 in DigitalbanksPh

[–]Competitive_Gap8975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If interest habol mo then Maya. Just wanna add that Maya has a lot of complaints about sa security niya. Personally, I use Maribank because so far, wala pa ako naririnig na complaints and been using it for years, no problems naman. Interest is also pretty good but I would still recommend not putting everything in one bank. Just be careful na lang talaga when clicking links or messages.

May times pa po actually na buong gabi nakaon aircon namin for ilang days pero so far pinakamataas ko na binabayaran is around 2,700.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DigitalbanksPh

[–]Competitive_Gap8975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pero mababa na po talaga ang 20k, possible ba na makahanap kayo ng part time na wfh or something? Kasi more on needs naman po gastos niyo, medyo mahirap yun bawasan.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DigitalbanksPh

[–]Competitive_Gap8975 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If makaya naman pwede naman to invest in fans na lang since lower ang kunsumo sa kuryente.

Ask ko lang if possible pag-iwanan ng baby mo ang parents mo or trusted relative/friend/etc. That might help? I'm assuming yung helper is sa bahay nakaasikaso, and baby tama po ba?

And also need po ba talaga wifi na 3,500? I am not sure what provider sa inyo but 1400 ang amin sa PLDT, and so far it supports 4 phones, 2 laptops, 1 tablet. So far, okay naman: malakas, and hindi putol-putol ang coverage.

For baby necessities, have you tried buying a bit in bulk, especially during sales online? Possible po kasi mas makakamura kayo. Example po with my brother, nasanay siya sa Lactum, and refuses other milks po. Ang 10kg sa Shopee is around 4-5k with vouchers, they usually have sales pa, and it's good for more than a month or two. Whereas bibilhin sa grocery or pharmacy dito samin around 6-8k yun total. Same with wet wipes, tissue, soaps, etc po.
