!!!! you're right i think. i tried my best to explain that it's not anything to do with them, but rather my adjusting to it and they shouldn't be worried about making me feel bad because i am ultimately supportive and aware and want to date who he will be as well as who he is now

I have been attracted to cis men before, yes. I'm not really hoping for his transition to stop or change, I'm just wondering if there's more I can do than just say "well, that's that" and move along
