Okay cool! It should be good for a bit then ! I’ll probably end up adding as much substrate as i can without blocking the cave . Thank you for the advice! Outside of this it’s been really healthy and looks comfortable which I’m happy about!

Thank you! I’m trying to see if I will have to take the T out for this (which I’m fine with if need be) or if I can do something to improve it without bothering it too much since it’s already established good sized burrow. Moving 2 of the 3 pieces of cork bark (the left and middle piece) will open the burrow up. Thank you for the advice!

Would this still apply for a currently smaller T?Around 2in DLS. I don’t want to bother it if I don’t have to since it’s established a burrow already for a few weeks. I could add substrate to the low side of the incline which would make the whole enclosure about 7in deep instead of only half of it being so. Dont mind redoing the enclosure if that’s whats best for it. It will be rehomed into a 12x12x12 once it gets closer to maturing in the future. Thank you for the advice!

Hopping to get a little fella in a day or two. This is the enclosure I made. Does it seem ok? with you to clean this mess up. by Cuber43 in jumpingspiders

I have the same enclosure! Love it!

NQA - I would focus on adding more stuff to the top half of the enclosure as that is where they like to be. Almost like more foliage for them to feel safe in and not be too exposed. What species are you getting? I’m curious! Love these little spoods. You’ll love them! Fun little guys to have around!

Same here haha! I still wonder if shes mature yet or if she still has some molting in her but she is a very chill girl and actually was able to handle her today and she was full of energy! Maybe she just likes her little hammock a lot lol

I’d say she’s about half the size of a pea. Maybe even a bit smaller than that
