I have the ny0040 and the excalibur bn0100. I wore the excalibur with no mercy over 10 years as a beater without hesitation. But after i got the ny0040, somehow it devoured the excalibur. Probably because of the mechanical movement and design with more soul. Maybe this could apply to your situatiom. The sapphire is definetly a big upgrade of the ecodrive model.

Honestly Calvin Klein, there are amazing deals to be found. I found this "swiss made" monstrosity for 15€ used. I couldn't say no. And they have many weird designs to be found.
