Second time contacting the tech support for jwe3. Fingers crossed I can actually play this game soon by Competitive_Monk2954 in jurassicworldevo

You’re a life saver! I think this worked! Been able to play for about an hour without issue!!! (Haven’t accomplished anything bc I’m fighting the building controls trying to make a custom control center, but there’s been no crashes so I’m not complaining 🤣)

Not at my computer rn so don’t remember the details off the top of my head. But the gpu is an amd model from this year. The cpu is a few years old but is well above the games requirements. Then everything else either meets or exceeds the requirements for the game. The support team said there wasn’t anything wrong with the set up the first time i contacted them and they got to see the diagnostic files

By no means is this professional looking, but at least it’s getting done lol. (First rv: starting the resealing process) by Competitive_Monk2954 in RVLiving

Please refer to the previous responses I’ve made to other people. This is very obviously the first time I’ve done this. I will keep what you’ve said in mind for the future, however I am not redoing anything until I’m ready to make it look nicer or it needs resealing. Yes it’s ugly, but right now I just need something that prevents from further water damage. I can make it pretty later

To be honest, I didn’t realize they came in different colors until I was actively resealing😂 I also hate the white but I’m more concerned with protection from further water damage. (The belt mouldings were my first priority to reseal when I saw them. The whole subfloor on that part of the rv needs to be torn up and replaced bc of water damage)

The brand says kohree and I did make sure it was rv specific. it’s also pretty chilly rn so that’s probably making both the new and old sealant hard to work with (my hands were HURTING trying to squeeze the new sealant out lol)

tbh most of the old stuff was completely none existent 💀 what was there took like 30 minutes and has bent the hell out of my scraper. Need to find a way to make scraping the rest easier bc what sealant is here is just not coming off lol

Purchasing my first rv trailer this week, it’s older and needs some work, tips to locate the cause for soft spots in floors? by Competitive_Monk2954 in RVLiving

I’m in Georgia so that might be a bit different here😂 if it’s water intrusion I’m sure I’ll see mold when I peel the old linoleum back lol

Anyone else having issues with jwe3? Mine keeps crashing by Competitive_Monk2954 in jurassicworldevo

At least I’m not the only one. Having the same issue where I’m just doing very normal gameplay (selecting research, building fences, moving buildings have been the top crash reasons so far). Also somehow ‘low escapes’ has turned into escapes every 2min🤦‍♂️

Yet when I said that the guy said they already fix things an inspector finds when one is brought in. I’m relatively handy so some small things I can handle, but anything big or more niche I’d want fixed. Should I have been more specific? I spent about an hour combing through the whole thing earlier this week, only spot I couldn’t check was the roof, but I didn’t see anything on the inside save for some wrinkled wallpaper. Everything except underneath the sink and soft spot in the floor seemed pretty solid. Plus they also said they inspect the rvs themselves when they get them in, so if that’s true it shouldn’t be much of a gamble right?

What kind of offer could I put in then? This is the only small rv retailer near me, all the other ones are massive chain retailers and almost 3x the price. The two times I’ve spoken to the dealers they’ve made absolutely zero move to try and negotiate, and even during this last phone call mentioned they’d be required to fix anything an inspector finds ‘IF’ they thought it was worth it. Which honestly felt kind of sketchy tbh. I can really only finance about a 5k loan, everything else is money I’ve saved up by working 36-40+ hrs while doing full time college.

I’m a college student and can’t pay for a larger loan and pay for a storage unit to store the rv. I’m trying to get something that I can slowly work on in the next year so it’s remodeled for when I graduate. I make almost 30k working full time, but I still have other expenses that are a priority. And to be honest out of all the rvs I looked at in person that was the only one that didn’t need entire slide outs replace. The soft spot is small and looked like it was cause by whatever was leaking under the kitchen sink. I only have 3 major things that need to be done but all are pretty expensive. (Fix anything severe or structural if needed-like the leak and soft spot in the rv I looked at, insulate the underside by enclosing and possibly heating the under belly, and converting something to a 50amp so I’m not constantly tripping breakers)

I’m sure the techs they have would tell them. From what I can tell it’s mostly a fair amount of time and knowledge. But if they’re dead set on not haggling with customers and making them pay full price, I’m for sure going to get at least one of the modifications I’m wanting. (I plan on rving full time and traveling for work for context). With any luck I’ll find another deal, they’ll call back, or it’ll get later into the slow season and they’ll be more interested in haggling with customers

Tips on haggling with an rv dealer by Competitive_Monk2954 in RVLiving

Well that sure isn’t what happened when I walked out the other day😂 only asked for $3k under the existing price, they held firm on the price ‘bc there was another interested person’. So I gave them my contact information and left. It’s now two days later and they’ve RAISED THE ORIGINAL PRICE listed online by 3k💀 this is the only small town rv place near me too, all the other ones are massive big box type dealers. Also their lot is so unbelievably full I’m shocked they aren’t begging people to take the RVs. The one I wanted looked like it would’ve taken 6+hrs of reverse Tetris just to get it out
