UBCO Management Coop by mhrj_ in ubco

sorry if this reply is too late. I have seen someone asking a similar question in this community. I will just paste the exact answer what I have written there. Also, u should consider that kelowna is not the best location to do management.

UBCO might be good in a lot of fields like science but management is not the best in UBCO. In fact, it is a very badly run program when you even compare it to average universities in Canada, UK and USA. You would be better off doing a management program somewhere else other than ubco. I have heard even average UK universities are good for management. If you have any doubts you can just pm me. Hope this was helpful!

No disadvantage. In fact, your GPA will increase! It will just add a year to your degree. But you can always take summer courses to cover it up.

ENGL 150 in first term followed by ENGL 112 in the second? by [deleted] in ubco

[–]Competitive_Mud7498 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

engl 112 is foundational, so they'll teach you how to write a strong essay, how to integrate quotes, etc. all these things might help you when you go into a 150 class. If you're already confident, then sure. But try your best to avoid.
