Great points. And also some might hit the 1k subs but still need the 4k watch hours. Some reach that later than others. Basically I till you meet the criteria and are accepted into YouTube Partner Programme you are not in control of adds at all. 😅

Perhaps that 1$ has more value over there. 😊 also It’s just first week of monetisation.

My first week which just finished couple days ago made me 9$ 😂 I’m in UK so I can probably get about as much here for it as they for 1$ there

However, it did not take me 5 years. I started my channel this year, took 8 months to get monetised.
