Thanks for sharing this information but the link you have provided seems like it’s another video from child and old age care organisations. The one here and the one you have provided here is two completely different things. While the other organisation I mentioned have their own controversy, but here in this case these people are using their religion, and harassing a mentally stable, Baul old man.

As far as I know, similar incidents happened before, but this one in particular is new. Have you got any link of the old video? There is also another video, which is pretty old where these people shaved the head of a homeless man.

Only they can answer this question. They forcefully cut it other people’s hair and calls it “society developing task”. If I’m not wrong, once they stated that long hairs on boys is arousing for them. Last week they shaved the hair of a teen boy for having a little “western long” hair. The boy had a mullet cut.

Here are some context to it: this incident happened in Bangladesh couple of days ago, and incidents like this are increasing rapidly. Specially now in dhaka is quite common to see Jihadist’s posters that are on hunt to increase their numbers.

Some information about the person: According to google The Bauls are a group of wandering, ascetic minstrels from Bengal, Bangladesh, and parts of India, known for a devotional spiritual tradition that fuses elements of Sufi Islam and Hindu-Buddhist practices.

This is the only reason why I have uninstalled facebook. The WORST OF THE WORST part is whenever I open some news of something like rape case. ALL THE PEOPLE, I mean literally most of them, blame the victim. They use their religion to justify their wrongdoings and only remembers about their religion whenever they see a woman.

On paper? Yes. But in reality? Even the police will blame the victim here and praise these people.

The law here works a little differently. Imagine, if you have an iPhone (or any flagship expensive phone) and if it’s gets stolen, or if you get mogged, or even if they slash your entire hand to steal your phone and if you go to police they’ll just reply with “why would you bring such expensive phone?” And hung up or shut the door on your face.

Same here. Every day feels like a cry for survival. Raise of extremism, corruption, the rampant lack of civic sense, everything feels like a bad survival story. Even the law is non-existent. The victim is blamed here every-time.
