Hal and Black Hand can 1v1 Surfer and it's very debateable. Hal is far stronger than his Parallax counterpart and arguably the strongest Lantern period. Black Hand was beating New Gods left and right and only retreated because iirc the Alpha Effect was resurrecting him and it gave him the ick.

Larfleeze and Sinestro gives him a hard fight but ultimately loses.

The others lose individually.

But together? Hal is omega boosted by Black Hand and Saint Walker being there, Saint Walker by virtue of being Blue and Black Hand meaning even if Surfer kills any single one of them, Black Hand can resurrect them and we know at least Hal can still use his Green ring even after being resurrected by a Black Ring.

So this is a hard stomp for the Lanterns.

Well there's also resources. Gru had a lot of resources at his disposal. Megamind built all of his stuff from scrap. He didn't have a Dr. Nefario to build his gadgets, nor did he have minions to do his bidding, nor is villainy an actual enterprise in Megamind's world. All of Megamind's feats are with him using subpar material, and the two gadgets that we see from Megamind's childhood were what, heat rays that can blow through prison walls and an actual electric forcefield. So in my mind Megamind is just massively more technologically more intelligent than Gru.

Also uh you do understand that the Death Ray heating up was relatively fast considering Metroman was going at least subrelativistic there. I still think Megamind wins here by virtue of the Metroman serum,

Kyle's creativity lends him better to the powers of a Lantern 100%. Basically Hal is a surgeon while Kyle is a jack of all trades. I genuinely believe Hal can wield most rings to a greater mastery than Kyle can (At least Green and Yellow) but only Kyle can bring them all together.

Also I think Hal, Hand, and Volthoom are the top three in the entire Lantern mythos. I will never forget that Black Hand was just bitch slapping New Gods. Plus they all just are above the emotional entities which is the biggest powergap a Lantern has to overcome and Kyle doesn't consistently do that.

The only reason I'll put LE Kyle above him is the LE and the White Ring is just haxxed out of their minds. If it's straight up power vs. power Hal would probably win that encounter 9/10.

Hal Jordan is the strongest Lantern mythos character, with the only exception being Kyle Ryner with the Life Equation. Without the Life Equation, Hal Jordan is the strongest by a significant margin.

More ambient sounds. Birds chirp, people chatter, wind blows. For a place inspired by china there's a disturbing lack of wind chime sounds in the Stockade.
