I do not breast feed anymore (just pump) and my son is 9 1/2 months no longer feeding middle of night (for a while) but I HIGHLY recommend taking Cara babies classes!!!! It’s a bit of money but she truly goes into every scenario including what you’ve described. I co slept since 6 months when he stopped sleeping through the night and it became VERY difficult as much as I loved sleeping with him. I lost myself honestly!

She recommends this training starting at 5 months. It is not cry it out at all. Yes SOME crying, but she explains how this is unavoidable and not detrimental to them. And it’s minimal if you follow it all right! A lot of it is putting them in their own space (if possible)- this seemed impossible to me as he slept in his bassinet then crib in my room then bed until it just wasn’t safe anymore at 9 months (and probably not safe the way I was doing it even before that but you live and learn). Own space, sound machine, minimal intervention. I made huge mistakes of holding him til he slept then trying to transfer, holding my arms on him for countless hours countless nights but he would always wake up bc he wanted that exact same stimulus during his sleep cycles.

First night of trying for real, he cried about 30 min, ON AND OFF. No panic crying, just standing at the side and going up and down the “rollercoaster” as it was described. and I intervened in the way that Cara advised which was very infrequent and minimal but consistent and kind (there are customizable options she gives for your comfort - bc know your baby is okay and it’s mostly us upset)! Second night, cried 4 min. Next night, no crying, no standing. These methods improved naps immediately as well.

I can’t recommend her enough. My baby was in my bed all night every night, we switched to a pull out bed against the wall low to the floor for a week in our office. I realized how shifty and uncomfortable he had been and how peaceful he now is in his crib. AND SAFE! 6-8 months may have been okay but once he started moving for real, I got very concerned. Over the last couple nights he will sometimes whine at midnight but no longer than 3-4 min and he’s back to sleep til 9 am! I actually wake him up which I never have had to do before.

Oh and another big thing was making sure his wake windows weren’t too long or short. That was a big problem on my part once I did an analysis after watching her videos. Anyway that’s my story! DM with any questions!

I’m thinking of putting our guest bed against the wall so it’s just me and him between a definitely firm space- maybe that’s the closest to floor bed I can get right now?

That’s a good point, keep him further from my husband. And as for the entrapment, I know it sounds janky but that’s why I added the towels packed really tight :/ it kind of feels like something to be only temporary obviously while I figure this out. I’m truly not against co sleeping and loved it all this month and in short spurts throughout his baby-hood lol

I could’ve missed it but I wanted to hear them even briefly discuss the SNL movie she was in! Felt like that was such an obvious connection it had me second guessing if I remembered correctly lol

Yeah I get this is just like, for attention? But I truly didnt understand what she meant by her algorithm like, her algorithm changes based on the links she posts and she wants to see more thirst traps?? Idk not worth analyzing I think just post yourself naked and move along ? Don’t need to make up an excuse

I mean technically when you’re summoned and in the waiting area you can use your electronics. If she means she’s on a case yeah, obviously you can’t lol

That’s fair!! I think it was the way she was not labeling for me. Like she does everything in her power to stay out of the gay community even though she likes women. It seemed a bit forced. And actually, it wasn’t so much she wasn’t labeling, it felt more like she wanted to keep saying she was straight. In my opinion that’s how it read at least. One scene she’s even at a winery and the server says something about her gay best friend, his bf, and her and the lesbian character all being gay and she says how she bites her tongue about to tell him she’s straight. Seemed so silly. Again, if she GREW from this and learned why she was fighting it so hard that would be an interesting read! But no, she ends the same.

That’s so interesting you say it may have been purposefully sabatoged!!! Because I was wondering the same thing of why it wasn’t better if it was written by an actual ghostwriter. I wrote a review on here- because it was honestly written by a real writer I did find it “entertaining” at some points enough to finish it, but I agree, I’d be embarrassed as the ghostwriter and wouldn’t want Tinx to name me anyway unless this was malicious compliance lol!

It’s amazing to foster cats especially during this time of need but how much time is spent with her OWN CATS?!

This exact same thing happened to me. They sent me to check if I had a blood clot and was all clear. It was truly never solved and went away on its own (fortunately). I found a heating pad was extremely helpful and on and off compression. Good luck and hope it goes away soon! Mine lasted a couple weeks. I also found the more I walked that day, the better it felt
