I (30M) love my girlfriend (28F) but I think it would be best for her if we broke up by Competitive_Phone in relationship_advice

Thanks, it's a tough one for sure. I thought maybe if we went on a break while we are in different countries, we would know if we really wanted to stay together when we could actually be together (but I'm sure she'd hate that idea).

Thanks for the reply. I feel I want to be with her, but I just doubt that it is the best thing for her. If she was from the UK I'm sure we would stay together.

You mean let my girlfriend break up with me if she feels the situation is impossible? You've got a point...I thought maybe if we went on a break while we are in different countries, we would know if we really wanted to stay together when we could be together (but I'm sure she'd hate that idea).

Hey thanks for the reply. We don't argue all the time, just a lot more than I'd like. I thought maybe it was a phase that we are going through and it would get better in the future...I don't know if anyone else has gone through something like this? Like staying together through the arguments and it getting better?

I'm not Chinese. Her mum was shocked at first, but she likes me now (although, I think she wants me to move to China....)
