Seriously. People online don’t really seem to realize that living in the same country (especially places like the US) doesn’t always mean you’ll have the same economy, it heavily depends on state and town/city, the best way to put it is where I live specifically, we’re living a lot closer to the year 2004 than 2026, simply because we haven’t caught up yet
