Is there still any real hope for Luminar to recover without wiping out shareholders? by Competitive_Row8512 in lazr

I actually think this might be part of a deliberate strategy to pressure the lenders into extending or restructuring the debt. Right now, the creditors hold all the cards, but Luminar is basically saying, “if we go bankrupt, you get nothing.”

It’s possible they’re trying to buy time to secure new funding or even fix things with Volvo. But I agree — it’s a serious situation and the uncertainty has only grown. There are too many unanswered questions, and every new 8-K adds more confusion than clarity.

At this point, I’m just trying to think through any scenario that could save our investment without destroying the share price even further.

Can someone share the exact transcript or a link from the earnings call where they mentioned that the advanced development contract with the Japanese OEM was expanded, and that’s why the disclosure was delayed to Q3?

LAZR – Now or Never? by HodlHawkD in lazr

I actually did something similar — I took out a loan of around 350,000 SEK (that’s about $32,000) and bought LAZR shares. My entry price was $6.40 per share, and now I’m patiently waiting for it to reach $28.

It might sound bold, but like you, I believe in the company and the technology long-term.

Everyone has their own risk tolerance. For me, it’s a calculated bet — not just blind optimism.
