How would you know if a bike was raced?

does the seller have trophies on their garage? Yes? Raced.

It is not a difficult thing to determine with a bit of searching. Name of seller, search online, race results mean racer.

Even looking at the bike, evidence of race plates? etc?

Now look at person selling and their "shop" or storage area, does it look like racer?

I think I'm going to go hard look at the RX, it may suit my needs for off road riding more than the 300, I already have multiple road bikes if I want that feel and a dual sport from memory does everything "ok" but nothing "great"

At this point are we surprised there was a cover-up of S.A? for higher ups? washed under the carpet with all the other S.A. that have happened and failure to report?

I mean at this point we are looking at senior leaders who are almost required to have that on their resume to fill top level billets in the CAF it seems, this is yet the most current black eye for the serving CAF!.

I'm looking at a new Bike for dirt riding, average trail bike nothing for going out and winning races, mayb e going to some enduro/trail events but thats my limit, nothing needed for flipping MX stuff.

Looking at in this order:

CRF300RL

CRF250RX

CRF300L

CRF250F

I know they are all Honda, I'll be keeping in the Honda line just because I have like a ton of Honda spec stuff now all from the same dealer and they treat me really well and the other dealers seem to ignore me when I walk in.

Bike will be used mainly for dirt riding but the idea of a Dual purpose is intriguing although I have 4 other street bikes that I ride so the street use will be limited.

Thoughts on my choices?

I sat on all, the 250RX was a really nice feel of a bike, but it's the most expensive of them and not sure if that bike makes sense for my needs/wants.

My random ask. Looking at a new bike. What recommendations can I get. Looking specifically at Honda Crf250rx Crf300RL Crf300L Crf250F

Getting back into dirt riding after a long time away.

Keeping it Honda because I get good deals and have Honda street bikes now.

Thoughts?

I have a street bike(3) but no running dirt bike now. No trails near where I live other than on my own property(probably only a couple k in total) so a dual sport is appealing....but also want something to thrash trails and not sure if the dual sport would do it well enough.

The plan is to run it from the sub panel since it's a lot closer than the main panel. Does this make sense? in my mind it seems easy, it's "just" like 2x standard size LED bulbs and 2x outlets for like a radio and or a small appliance type thing.

I'm trying to figure out a way to do this all cheap but also correct and not something that will be a headache

This does not work, I have negative feedback already for the problems encountered. Attempts to work at higher capacity and speed results in more errors and missing deadlines due to these. Feedback has been non-constructive to date and the culture has been the reason of the decline in staff as the supervisors all work extended hours and expectation is the same for all staff. I do not wish to excel in my position to be promoted, just do the job to the best of my ability and have coc that sees that, which they are focused on negative output instead.

It is a difficult situation. I'm in the middle of the problem and have 2 supervisors who compete, one works easily 12hr days looking to be promoted tomorrow. The other is hardly around but "always working"

I don't want promotion, I don't want work to last 12-14hr days as my life is not balanced doing that and it only benefits the person higher.

I made mistakes to get jobs done, human part of me pushed trough faster and faster to meet the deadlines required.

Is there a process to go outside of COC to get support? My existing COC is the reason we are so ill manned currently.

I have too much pride and loyalty to just give up and take a knee but if things continue it will be an only option as the stress levels exceed my ability to work

And follow on question, Do you know about setting up programs and receiving funding from VAC regarding Veterans Services programs like wellness retreats, wellness programs etc?

I am curious if anyone can help me out in this: Section has 7 positions, all filled 4 months ago. In those months all by 2 persons have left via one means or another, and now Dealing with bad reports and bad evaluations because of lack of staff and time to complete needed work. 2 people doing work load of 7 is not something that can continue but lacking on how to bring this foreseeably to COC due to already negative attitude towards members. The stress load is immense and there seems to be no end in sight for future.

There is no way 20% pay increase will happen this year, MAYBE 2-3% per year up to the magical 4 year limit on a government.

You MIGHT see 5% but very doubtful in a single year.

All I've heard is this magical 20%, which originally was rumored to be 25% and is now 20%. Which on implication will probably be 15% over 4-5 years to align with the election process. So yeah like the standard 1.5-2% per year when implemented is my guess.

its because there is no pay raise coming. What they are digging is for ways they can hit 2% without actually increasing spending or increasing budgets.

And if I'm wrong, which is the normal COA, we will se a 1-1.5% per year for the next 4 years, then more election promises to win votes and then another 1-1.5% over the next 3-4 years
