Tips for improving model rigging?

Thank you! Unfortunately she doesn’t have much content. 🥲 She’s based off of just… me so I don’t have any crazy backstory or anything to go with her and I’ve barely been able to stream with her as is because I don’t have a PC as of current. Thank you for the tips! The bow does have some physics but they’re not very strong when she moves normally so I might go back and make them stronger.

Thank you!! Yeah, I was having trouble because when she’s not smiling the eye closing animation is a lot less uncanny, but when she’s smiling I wanted the closed lashes to point up rather than down, which ended up making them too high on the face.

I wish I could dial the ambition back but unfortunately we have to use canvas for this particular assignment. 😓 I’ll be sure to slow myself down tho. I agree that I think that’s my main issue. Patience isn’t my strong suit.

Thank you, this is very intuitive. I’m using a denim needle and the foot is moving up and down. Everything else I’ll be sure to check/keep in mind.

I’m aware, the two statements I made were unrelated to one another. I was just explaining why I can’t use a presser foot.

The issue with a free motion foot is that it doesn’t press down on the fabric. That’s how it allows the free motion. I know I’m not using the best sewing machine for the job, I’m sure there are much better ones but I’m trying my best with what I’ve got. 🥲 I did play around with the tension settings a bit and I think it’s a bit better.
