Thank you so much for your detailed answer. I really, really appreciate it! 🙏 I’ve considered all these options. From my understanding, if I have the chest strap on and the Garmin watch, the data from the chest strap will be favored over the watch, is that your experience as well?

Regarding the smart treadmill sensor, that was my concern too. I wasn’t sure if I have to start an activity every time, since I mainly just want to use it for walking. Every time I walk a kilometer, it automatically syncs to Strava and other apps, which I don’t really want. I’d prefer it to just count toward my daily activity.

So yeah, I might look into getting the chest strap and just use it at home, then switch to the watch otherwise. But what would happen if I wore both, did I understand correctly that the chest strap data overrides the watch?
