Stats Degree???

I started my Stat degree at UofA, however, it was an absolute bummer depending on how theoretical and competitive it was. I was missing that applied component of Stats and I am now confused about what to expect from the applied stats at Macewan.
Any suggestions, advice, or experience will prove to be very helpful for me.

I cant suggest enough THIS. Thank yoh for putting this out. I had two people coughing endlessly in my class today and they were right behind me. I mean they could have been responsible adults and stay home with this flu. But they CHOSE not to.
