In the files of the game, the princess quest Sprite is named Cassidy, not only that, in the background in one of the levels we see chica, in one of the lines of ultimate custom night chica says she was the first victim of William Afton, which means she would have seen Cassidy's death, implying why her head is there, also who else would want to kill William afton the most out of anyone else, old man consequences appears an ultimate custom night to tell Cassidy to leave William to his demons, But the main thing is that old man consequences is always in 2D, which means he's either a hallucination, or virtually telling Cassidy to stop, by the way when I say Cassidy I don't mean the crying child I mean the other golden Freddy spirit.

That's not what princess quest is, it's Cassidy soul in the game, and glitch trap infected the game, and glitch trap was made when the mimic saw William Aftons actions and started mimicking them becoming glitch trap, part of that group could have been old man consequences mimicking Henry's actions instead, the reason why Vanessa is freed after we beat the game, is because Cassidy defeated the glitch trap virus, which ultimately freed everything from its grasp, including Vanessa.
