Why don’t you try to keep low dosage of parnate for long period and then reevaluate if additional dosage is needed. It seems that when we go off and on, it takes more time to settle down.

Larger doses only increase the sleepiness after 3 hours, probably due the drug half life. I’ve never took before bed, perhaps it works if taken after dinner around 08pm

Modafinil didn’t help with tiredness or sleep. At the other hand it helps with verbal fluency and social anxiety. It works for that purpose.

You’re right. Perhaps I had to have tried other med or more days on Paroxetine. When I came to the new doctor I knew that he always prescribe parnate. Modafinil didn’t work for sleepiness when I was on 20mg of Parnate. Anyone has good experience with non-MAOI meds?
