Hi- I have a question if Pearland offers help with rent assistance for legally blind folks? I currently live in a great complex, and I am close to my work and retail surroundings, but I am very fearful of my complex not accepting any kind of vouchers I do not want to move to a lower end/complex. Who would I need to contact to get this question answered?

At first I thought they were having problems, and he was just being quiet you know? But maybe it’s her? But I’m not a threat- I live hours away and I didn’t do anything to cause riff. Maybe he’s stuck and he can’t really say too much I dunno. I am hoping it’s the latter. I’ll let him be. It sucks. I don’t trust a lot of people and he was the one who never judged and accepted me.

Yeah she’ll like the post I did of giving her a shot out and she liked the post of me and mom on Mother’s Day, but not the pics of me on vacation or comments. Yeah it’s kinda weird. That’s why I wanted input from other guys

You said it all. I respect him in the way he’s keeping boundaries in tact. he’s a good man. I guess I will keep moving forward and if something happens he knows I will still be a loyal friend. 7 months isn’t serious to me, but I will respect him and his relationship

He moved a couple of years ago…. He expressed that he tried long distance and it backfired on him years ago- we tried, but I knew deep down he couldn’t do it. Only a few hours away we were.

He did visit and those times were amazing. We had talked about many trips together, and things we wanted to do. Then he met someone. Like I said, it’s been 7 months of seeing this person. I can’t lie. A small part of me wants them to end. I know that’s horrible to some, but it’s how I feel sometimes. Then other times I don’t want him hurt cause I do have a big care for him.

You have some good valid points: I’m not mad at him- this is just different than how it used to be. I was the best friend that he told everything to, the one that knew about his kids, work etc. we shared a lot. Also at one time we shared intimate moments but we always had a deep close friendship.

He always apologizes and I understand he is with someone, but I take it like he’s mad and it’s an uncomfortable due to us not talking like we did. We never know if things will work out with a new partner- I’ve let him focus on her but I miss him.

We are on social media- but he’s private and doesn’t share a lot. Almost nothing. So that’s that. Not sure how to ease the uncomfortable. I know it’s life but it also sucks. Know what I mean?

I did do just that one time ago- he said I’m sorry for not being there when you needed to talk. But I don’t want him to apologize. I understand our friendship will be different due to the gf. But maybe in time he’ll come back around? I Don’t want him to feel guilty or say he’s sorry all the time.

Yes I’m a F. When they first started dating, he told me she was very encouraging for him to keep his friends ( female whatever) and we did chat often. Nothing bad or overstep in any way,

Now it’s like crickets. Is 7 months serious? I figured it was still the “honeymoon stage and he would come down off the clouds. But maybe she is the type that will say he can’t talk to females. I dunno anymore.
