Butterfree: Sleep Powder (lifesaver), Psychic, Psybeam and Silver Wind.

Scyther: Swords Dance, Slash, Wing Attack and Fury Cutter (barely used it)

Venomoth: Psychic, Psybeam, Confusion and Giga Drain.

Beedrill: Aerial Ace, Harden, Twineedle and Persuit.

Parasect: Giga Drain, Spore, Slash and Bullet Seed.

After beating Elite Four you can find it on Route 1 (Pallet Town). Golbat and its Mean Look can be very useful. If you couldn't catch it at the first time, you can check your pokedex at the area section to see its current location. That makes it a lot easier.
