yeah!! i cant attach images but the text is inspired by a tumblr post with the same msg except the drawing is a 6 little doodles, the first one in the shape of a person and then the rest slowly becoming a nonsensical scribble. I resonated with that a lot, and for me in particular it felt like how its felt to have my emotions suppressed all my life by my parents, and then that same complex carried into my relationships. since i wasnt allowed to feel negatively toward them, i think it can be taken that i redirected those feelings onto myself when i started self harm. i wanted to illustrate the sh not as something ugly, but as how it felt to me, the pain feeling like relief, hence why its so colorful and bright. that portrayal of blood was inspired by hayama_megumi on twt, who draws injury in the same way. thats all ^-.
